Talon is a stabilizer brand owned by Shenzhen Gusheng, and its price is generally low. In 2019, the market share of stabilizer surpassed that of Feiyu, ranking third in China. Most stabilizer brands start from consumer small stabilizers and gradually enter the professional stabilizer market, while Talon's development process is just the opposite, its camera stabilizer products are far more abundant than small and medium-sized stabilizer products.

In the field of professional stabilizers, Talon has Pro, Lite and Air series, among which Pro is positioned as a movie machine stabilizer close to DJI Ruying 2, and Lite series is positioned as a movie machine stabilizer similar to DJI Ruying MX. These stabilizers are heavy in weight and complex in control, and are only suitable for shooting teams. Only Air series is suitable for individual users.

Air series camera stabilizers are all equipped with Manfrotto quick-mounting plates, which are easy to assemble and disassemble, and easy to switch between the tripod and the stabilizer. Compared with the previous generation, Talon Air2 has a comprehensive and substantial upgrade, with OLED screen to display the status of the camera and stabilizer, adding a focus dial, which can be matched with its own wireless focus follower, adding more buttons to the handle, and much better control. The Air2 has been upgraded to a beveled design that does not block the screen, while the load has been increased to an astonishing 4.2 kilograms.

Compared with the previous generation, Air2S focuses on improving its endurance, which can reach an astonishing 20 hours, and can even be charged twice a day in the face of low-intensity shooting tasks. Air2S is also perfect in the use of details, adding an intelligent micro handwheel, which can accurately control the pitch, translation of the PTZ and the focus and zoom of the camera through the rocker, making the picture switching smoother, and adding a three-axis locking design to make leveling more convenient. It should be noted that the AIr2S has a separate battery power supply, and the battery switch needs to be turned on before it can be turned on normally.

Aircross has always been positioned as a smaller version of Air, but Aircross 2 is an exception, which is called "master" by Talons. Aircross2 is equipped with L-type quick-mounting board as standard. The camera can be vertically leveled and the screen is not blocked. It also supports installation on the left side. It is easier to level large cameras and lenses. There is no similar competitor on the market. And the three axles are not limited, with a load of 3.2 kg, which is about usd150 lower than the products of Zhiyun and Dajiang of the same grade.

Talon stabilizer has many functions that need to be connected to mobile APP to open, but its APP only has some basic functions, such as parameter adjustment, calibration, mode setting, etc. Talon's one-button automatic calibration and automatic parameter adjustment functions are more practical. It can automatically adjust the motor torque according to the weight and center of gravity of the camera. When the zoom lens is used or the replacement lens is not leveled, the automatic calibration can make the stabilizer in a relatively good working condition.

If you feel that it is very troublesome to open the APP settings, you can buy a special thumb controller for Talons. There is an OLED screen on the controller, which can adjust and control the camera and PTZ, with a maximum remote control distance of 60 meters. The most unique feature is the addition of the somatosensory control function. The gyroscope on the remote control can sense the rotation and pitch action, and control the stabilizer to make a consistent response. In the past, this function was only carried on a fairly professional stabilizer. It allows the photographer to flexibly control the camera angle and take a picture with a first-person perspective. This function is best used with a two-handed kit. A one-handed handle is not conducive to the play of somatosensory operation.

Since 2019, Talons has focused on the layout of mobile phone stabilizers, and Mini-SE, Mini-S Premium Edition and Mini-P have been released successively after Mini-MI. Mini-MI is Talon's test of mobile phone stabilizer, with a load capacity of 300 G, the highest in its class, and the most unique selling point is that it supports wireless charging of mobile phones. Although the vast majority of stabilizers support charging the shooting device, it is not practical, not to mention that the charging cable is easy to lose, the charging socket occupies space will cause the center of gravity to shift, increase the motor load, and the cable is easy to hinder the three-axis operation, while wireless charging is much more practical.

The positioning of Mini-SE is similar to that of Feiyu's Vlog pocket, which does not need to be leveled, but vertical shooting only supports mobile phones within 6.4 inches. The premium version has an enhanced motor compared to the SE, so that the stabilizer can be extended to 41 cm. Compared with the standard Feiyu Vimble2, the price of the two is close, but the pitch axis and heading axis of the Vimble2 have a higher degree of freedom. Mini-P features a "multi-purpose" function, which is compatible with card cameras, action cameras and mobile phones, and its folding design is also easy to carry.
